Groom, snuggle and ride a pony! Learn to take care of a pony and be safe in the saddle and around horses.

Each class culminates with a delightful hand-led ride.

Birthday Pony Experiences

VIP Birthday Pony Experience (1 Child)

Duration: 60 minutes

Cost: $110

Treat your child to a magical pony birthday celebration. Arrive at our beautiful farm, nestled in the hills of Escondido. Your special pony will be ready to give you a warm birthday welcome!

Get to Know your Pony: You’ll receive a grooming basket to brush the mane and tail, groom, pick out the hooves, curry and learn how to care for your pony.

Decorate your pony: Using flowers, greenery, ribbons and glitter you’ll dress up your pony for the big day.

Pony Parade! Show off your styling while you lead your decorated pony around the arena to the applause of the crowd. Our experienced handlers will teach even the littlest ones how to lead our gentle ponies.

Obstacle Course: Lead your pony through cones and over ground poles to learn to guide your pony.

Birthday Riding Adventure: Approximately 10 - 15 min of hand led riding for each child. Take lots of pictures or sing the happy birthday song.

Pony Picnic: Feed your pony carrots, apple slices or horse treats.

Birthday Craft: Decorate a horseshoe or cowboy bandana to take home and remember your special day.

Goody Bag: Horse themed party bag with lots of fun goodies inside. Happy Birthday Song and say goodbye to your pony!

This semi-private experience is limited to just 4 children, and each child is paired with their own gentle pony for the entire celebration.

Guest Policy: The VIP Pony Birthday Experience includes one participating child and up to two accompanying family members. Babes in arms under 2 years old may attend free, but not participate. Additional family members and spectators must purchase additional pass.

The Perfect Pony Birthday Party (4 Children)

75 Minutes of Pony Fun for Up to 4 Children

Celebrate your child’s birthday with a Pony Party at our beautiful farm, nestled in the hills of Escondido! This exclusive experience is designed for up to 4 children, with each child paired with their own gentle pony for the entire party.

Children will groom and care for their ponies, decorate them with flowers, ribbons, greenery, and glitter, then proudly lead them in our Pony Parade.

They’ll learn to guide their ponies through a fun obstacle course, enjoy a ~10 minute hand-led ride, and finish with a Pony Picnic where they can feed their pony carrots and horse treats.

After the pony activities, the children will enjoy lemonade and cookies, create a horse-themed birthday craft to take home, and receive a pony-themed goody bag filled with fun surprises. The celebration ends with a special Happy Birthday song, plenty of photo opportunities, and one last goodbye to their new pony friends.

We have miniature horses for small children ages 2 years and up and medium ponies for riders up to 100 lbs.

Your Instructor

Yasmin Lillian is passionate about horses. She grew up in Germany where she received her riding credentials and follows the German Training Scale. She is certified in Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross-Country. She values most of all the development of horse and rider in harmony.

Since moving back to California, she founded San Diego Riding in the South Bay. This program blossomed into a large training and show program. She sold her training business in 2024. Since then, she has built her own boutique riding stable in Escondido with top notch amenities. The smaller atmosphere fosters a one-on-one connection,

Yasmin’s passion is introducing children to the joys of horsemanship.
