Leasing is a great next step from individual lessons and saves money. Once you’ve taken a few private lessons and are familiar with saddling your horse for your lesson, you can move on to leasing.

To lease you will need to be able to:

  • Catch and halter your horse

  • Tie your horse, groom him and clean the hooves

  • Saddle your horse and come to the arena

These are the basics we teach in the first 4 to 5 lessons.

Leasing a Horse/ Monthly Riding Packages

Experience the joy of leasing your very own horse or pony!

Imagine having a beautiful horse to ride, groom and bond with - what could be better?

Leasing a horse offers many benefits:

  1. Cost Effective: Leasing is more affordable than full ownership, covering only part of the expenses, like feed and boarding.

  2. Flexibility: Leasing allows you to experience horse ownership without a long term commitment.

  3. Consistency: You’ll be riding the same horse every time and forming a bond with that animal. (In comparison; lesson horses are typically rotated, so you have to adjust to a new horse each time.)

  4. Less Financial Responsibility: You are not responsible for vet fees, farrier bills, vaccinations, worming, dental work, tack repairs, etc.

  5. Less Time Commitment: Your horse will be taken care of by your trainer when you’re not around so you can enjoy your equine without the burden of caring for a horse full time.

  6. Learning Experience: Your coach will always be there to help you with your horse or pony if any difficulties might arise. You have a skilled teacher to keep you safe.

  7. Test Commitment: It’s a way to determine if you’re ready for full ownership without the long-term commitment.

  8. Access to quality horses: Leasing allows access to a higher quality horse than you might afford to buy outright.

  9. SAFETY: Our horses are well trained and maintained. They receive regular tune-up rides from trainers and are exercised daily. You’ll always be riding a safe and happy horse.
